The
Thames River Basin Partnership is a coalition of organizations dedicated to the
protection and improvement of the natural resources of the Thames River Basin through
donations of time, facilities and personnel of the agencies and entities
involved.
If you would like to support us and thus
contribute to conservation efforts in Eastern Connecticut:
- Financial donations can be sent to
the
Eastern Connecticut Conservation District, a 501 (c) 3 organization
which manages the financial accounts on behalf of the TRBP. Be
sure to note that the donation should be directed to the TRBP account.
- Volunteers are needed
to help us on an ongoing basis!
- The Thames Basin
needs dedicated individuals to apply for Grants for watershed protection.
Below are some particular contributions we
would like to acknowledge:
Project Oceanology which graciously provides
facilities for our quarterly meetings as well as their facilities and
the occasionally the Envirolab for
our annual Floating Workshop,
The Sea Grant College Program and Pfizer for their generous past support
of the Floating Workshop series,
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation as part of the Long Island
Sound Study for their support of Floating
Workshop IX.
The Thames Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited for a financial contribution
to the TRBP.
The Eastern
Connecticut Conservation District for their gracious donations of personnel time
and energy towards all our events and management of the TRBP Coordinator
grants,
And Connecticut Audubon Society Center at
