In 2006, a partnership of the CT DEP Inland Fisheries Division, the CT DEP Wetlands Habitat and Mosquito Management (WHAMM) program and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service completed a Mount Hope River Habitat Restoration Project in Ashford.  Read more about this project here.
